Known for a professional attitude, easy going personality, innovative cutting techniques and attention to detail many clients come to see me for an awesome fade or meticulously crafted business cut. When I’m not behind the chair I am spending time with family, or creating or updating websites for local businesses. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
It is always my pleasure to welcome new guests and develop that trust that must be had between a barber and client. I enjoy creating the look you are seeking while ensuring you are able to maintain it. Working as a barber also provides me the opportunity to educate clients as well as customers of Bridgeburg Gentleman’s Shoppe about how best to use and care for the wide assortment of tools and supplies for men’s grooming being offered online here and in store.

Hairstyling is designated a compulsary trade. You can verify my credentials registered with Skilled Trades Ontario (formerly the Ontario College of Trades) by referencing member number 15022563. I am a sole proprietor operating under BN 813214632. Bridgeburg Gentleman’s Shoppe is additionally registered under BIN 241079730. Unlike some home-based salons my studio is legal. I do not snub local by-laws to get an unfair advantage against salons who have staff and are paying for commercial space. The Town of Fort Erie prohibits home occupations to have staff. I am also fully insured with a salon insurance policy. Homeowner’s insurance is void without separate insurance for business if clients come to the home for service of any kind whether you’re a bookkeeper or a barber. If you get injured during an non-insured visit you cannot claim against the stylist’s home insurance. They will be deemed to have no insurance, and if a mortgage is held against the property it will become due and payable in full immediately once the insurer informs the bank (which would be immediately). You will find yourself having to sue for damages against someone who just lost their home (and business location) and no longer has the means to compensate you. Always ask about insurance when you see a barber/stylist at their home. It seems trivial and something you’re willing to overlook to get a cheap cut but consider the cost to you and your loved ones if something goes wrong. If your barber/stylist tells you they’re covered under their homeowner’s policy, they’re lying.
For my fellow barber/stylists out there intending to work from home, be forewarned that few homeowner insurers even allow home occupations that allow clients into the home despite the homeowner holding additional insurance specific to the business being conducted. Home hairdressers should always consult with their homeowner insurer before applying for additional business insurance. All this must be done before allowing clients into your home. Operating from home more often than not voids your homeowner’s policy. Find a homeowner insurer that permits working from home then get the necessary insurance for the business. Only then can you legally operate if your local laws permit.
